Identification : passes the test as per STP-JP/RM/QA-003
Melting Point : between 78˚C and 81˚C
Specific optical rotation : between +43˚ and +47˚. (1% solution in 1,4 Dioxan)
Loss on drying ; not more than 0.5%
Sulphated ash :not more than 0.1%
Assay (on dried basis) not less than 97.0% and Not more than 103.0% of C21H32O .
